What does Chiropractic Treat?

Back and neck problems. Every day, all day, for 18 years, I have been treating back and neck problems. Many conditions are related to back and neck problems such as sciatica, disc injuries, muscle spasms, pinched nerve, whiplash, and headaches. In addition, I coach you to achieve your wellness goals such as improved fitness, improved core strength, and optimum weight through fitness and better nutrition.

Do you treat auto accident and work injuries?

Yes. We treat back and neck injuries from an auto injury. Payment is covered by the at fault driver’s auto insurance. Also, Connecticut state law requires chiropractic coverage for work injuries. Call us.

Do you do sports medicine?

Chiropractic training focuses on orthopedic injuries to the muscles and joints -- a good focus for sports injuries. In addition, I studied sports medicine from 1993-1996 and traveled to New York, Boston, and Colorado for instruction from doctors and trainers from the Olympic medical team, the NFL, and pro baseball.

Is It Safe?

Chiropractic has a reputation of making people a little nervous because we work you over real good, not because the treatment is dangerous. It may occasionally hurt for a second or cause some muscle soreness, but it does not have the side effects of and other medications such as Vioxx, Celebrex, and NSAIDS nor the serious risks of complications associated with back or neck surgery. Usually chiropractic is similar to massage in that it feels quite good.

Does It Work?

The proof is in the pudding. Chiropractic’s popularity keeps growing and growing. Most M.D.’s, especially orthopedics, now recommend chiropractic treatment for back and neck pain. A recent U.S. Department of Public Health study found chiropractic to be the best treatment for low back pain. My treatment will make you better and get you back to your activities sooner because you’ll feel good.
